2026 Pilotage Tariff Schedule – Bosphorus & Dardanelles
We would like to inform all shipowners, operators, and stakeholders about the updated pilotage tariff applicable to the Turkish Straits (Bosphorus & Dardanelles) effective 01 January 2026.
Istanbul or Çanakkale Strait Passage
Base fee up to 1,000 GRT: USD 600
Each additional 1,000 GRT: USD 107
Important Notes
- Tankers and vessels carrying hazardous cargo
A 30% surcharge will be applied to the base pilotage fees.
- National Holidays & Public Holidays
Pilotage services performed on days specified in the Law on National Holidays and Public Holidays are subject to a 50% surcharge.
These updated tariffs reflect the 2026 regulatory framework for safe and efficient navigation through the Turkish Straits.
